Top academic resource, Choice Magazine, announces awards list for 2012.
Mesa Verde Publishing and CQ Press/Sage’s Encyclopedia of Water Politics and Policy in the United States, edited by Steven L. Danver, Ph.D., has been named to the 2012 Outstanding Academic Title list by the American Library Association’s Choice magazine.
Choice is a resource that academic librarians, faculty, and key decision makers both in the United States and around the world refer to in order to determine which titles to add to their library’s collections, and is carried by almost every college and university library in the United States.
Selection to their Outstanding Academic Title list is based, among other criteria, on excellence in scholarship and importance relative to other literature in the field. Water is a topic that has a long history and is increasingly vital as American cities expand, and the Encyclopedia of Water Politics and Policy in the United States gives clear, concise information on the social and political issues related to the use and conservation of this vital natural resource.
